Introduction
Sound Electronics was created in Tacoma, Washington in 1976 as a manufacturing and sales company for Accumaster, the first reliable solid state master clock sold throughout the United States. With the sale and installation of this high-tech master clock to educational and industrial customers Sound Electronics was quickly elevated to a leadership position in the microprocessor field. To capitalize on this sudden success the decision was made to expand to other low voltage systems. At this time the fire alarm and intercommunication's industries were developing solid state devices and Sound Electronics' expertise in microprocessor based equipment was able to secure distributorships with prominent manufacturers. Over time, Sound Electronics expanded to a full service low voltage electrical contractor with an emphasis on the design and integration of systems; furnishing and installing equipment plus providing preventative maintenance on all sized projects. Sales and technical personnel are factory trained allowing Sound Electronics to incorporate state of the art products into the systems designed for their customers. We are active in the bid market with considerable emphasis on the bidder design and end user markets. Our longevity and excellent reputation in the low voltage system business have been accomplished through continually meeting the customer's unique requirements. The service department has constantly expanded their reputation and customer base through prompt and knowledgeable service at a competitive price. The service department enhances customer satisfaction and displays the commitment Sound Electronics has to quality and dependability.
